Intervention Services

Adolescent Education Program
A program for the teenage involved with underage possession or consumption or driving under the influence.The program is held once per month on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the conference room of Gateway Outreach Center.

The group program is limited to eight youth and a parent must attend the session with their child.

A half-hour individual follow-up session is scheduled with the teenager, parent and counselor to review the results of the assessment and the information received during the program.

10 ED Program
A ten-week group program for those individuals involved with possession of alcohol or drugs, or a teenager that has had more than one under-age consumption or driving under the influence charge. The group meets one night per week for one hour.

Phoenix Program
A program for men that meets every Saturday morning at Gateway Outreach Center from 8:00-10:00 a.m. for 27 weeks. This anger management program targets those individuals involved in domestic abuse. Individuals may enter the program by self-referral or by a court order. Those entering the program must attend the orientation session that is held the first Monday of each month. Appointments must be made for the orientation session.

Recovery Group
A group that includes men and women meeting one night per week for one hour. Participants are recommended into this setting by a counselor and may have already completed a program at Gateway Outreach Center.

Project Women Alive
a program that receives funding assistance through a grant received from the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.

Women and adolescent girls have group programming available at Gateway Outreach Center that includes substance abuse, co-dependence, and domestic abuse.
